The owner changed in 2024. Unlimited chlorine in the pool. The water is dirty, slimy and bad taste. Previously, the Scandinavian owner was replaced by a Thai owner. It must have sold at a high price. A new villa is being built next to here, and all the coconut trees have been cut down to prevent construction noise. Up until now, there had clean water using seawater, and rooms used to cost 18,000 baht a month, but now they cost 3,000 baht a night. It's a shame because I used the room and pool until last year.

A unique hotel on the beach with sunset and ocean views. We stopped to check out the rooms when looking for a new place to stay, and decided straight away that this was the place to spend our last week on the island. You don't walk through reception to get to the rooms so it feels like apartment living, very private but the other guests we encountered were friendly. Not noisy in the evening, very good WiFi and work space in the room. And the view from the balcony is invigorating every time. We had a few problems with ants, but the hotel had provided powder which deterred them (they will find a way in), but this did not detract from out stay. Cannot speak for the pool or bar as we did not make use of these facilities, but the staff were very kind and friendly whenever we spoke with them. They have a weekly and a monthly rate, we paid 8000 baht + 2000 security deposit for one week, which was excellent value for the wonderful room. Highly recommended staying here whether short or long term.

What an amazing experience staying here. Sometimes, simplicity is the best policy, and Baan Jai Dee does not disappoint. From the second we got off our ferry, our taxi was waiting for us, and took us straight to the hotel without any problem. After we arrived, we were welcomed with warm greetings and smiles by the staff- a special shout out to Bibi, she is one of a kind! We had some issues with the safe and they dropped everything to help us and show us how it works. The rooms are VERY clean (there's a UV light in the bathroom to prove this), the AC is perfect, and the access to free cold water is a nice touch to save a few THB. We stayed in an oceanview room, and let me tell you... That sunset view is unlike anything we've seen. Just check out the picture. When we eventually return to Koh Phangan, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to Bibi and the team for making our stay very, very enjoyable. Kap Kun Mak Krap🙏🏼

Phenomenal place! A stunning sunset view and basically a private beach only a few steps away from the room. The bedroom is spacious and nicely decorated. It is away from any kind of noise, providing the best sleep quality. The pool is great, as well as the coworking space. Everything is very clean, the food from the bar is delicious, and the staff is very caring and kind. Highly recommend, loved the experience!
